Notes tell you what was said. KittyYawn speaks up while it still matters.

A meeting copilot that runs on your Mac, listens alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or an in-person conversation, and is selective about when it speaks.

Fictional sample call. The overlay is KittyYawn; nothing else on screen is.

Meeting notes compared with KittyYawn

Meeting notes, after the fact

  • A recording or a bot, then a transcript and a summary afterwards.
  • Help arrives when the meeting is over.
  • Usually not grounded in your own documents.
  • Every meeting gets the same treatment.

KittyYawn, during the meeting

  • No bot. Runs on your Mac; audio stays there, only short windows of transcript text go to the AI.
  • Speaks up while the call is on, when a question has an answer in your documents or a decision is forming.
  • Answers from your notes, Knowledge folder and Approved Answers, and says where from.
  • Selective: it stays quiet when nothing is needed.

Moments

Proactive. A short card when something needs your attention: a question left hanging, a fact from your documents that answers what was just asked, a decision taking shape, a next step nobody owns. Each card names its source; dismiss it, pin it, or expand the overlay.

Moments are selective by design. How many a meeting gets depends on the meeting and your documents; many calls end with none, and we don’t promise a number. Built-in modes change what KittyYawn listens for:

Customer · Sales · Demo · Investor · Internal · Presentation

Live Answer Beta

You ask. Mid-call, in the overlay or by keyboard, and the answer is grounded in your own material: your notes, your Knowledge folder, your team’s Approved Answers, and what was said earlier in this meeting, with its source shown. Screen Context Beta adds what’s on your screen when you choose to share it. Never automatic.

You asked “What did I miss?”

Live Answer
Riley owns the fix, with dates. The pricing exception is still open.

Summary

A result, not a transcript: decisions, commitments with owners and dates, and the questions still open. It usually arrives a few minutes after you hang up. Share only what you check; your notes and private assessments are never included.

Follow-through

What you said you’d do comes back before it goes stale, as a nudge in the app. Verified Actions Beta turn a commitment into a drafted action, such as a follow-up note; you review it before anything runs, and nothing is sent on your behalf. Before the next meeting with the same people, KittyYawn brings back what was said and promised and prepares the open questions.

What’s beta, what isn’t.

The public beta is honest about its edges.

  • Ready: on-device transcription, Moments, modes, the summary, promise nudges, calendar context, sync across your Macs, bring-your-own Anthropic key.
  • Beta: Live Answer, Screen Context, Verified Actions, cloud Knowledge and Approved Answers, the web console. They can be slow, wrong or unavailable.
  • Not in 0.1.0: Windows, team Backchannel, a bot that joins calls, unlimited hosted AI. Team and Business plans are by contact only.

What leaves your Mac. Raw audio is processed locally and never uploaded. Short windows of transcript text, and the whole refined transcript once for the summary, go to the AI provider through KittyYawn’s gateway. If you turn sync on, selected meeting records (summary, decisions, commitments, notes, attendees) are stored in your account; transcripts and audio never sync. Details in the Privacy Policy. Hosted AI is bounded by your plan’s monthly allowance; see Pricing.
