  2. Open it, sign in with your email, allow microphone and system audio when asked.
  3. Play the 1-minute sample meeting, then start a real one.

The getting-started guide walks through each step, including what to do if a permission was denied.

Updates

KittyYawn tells you when a newer build is available, in the menu bar and in Settings. Updates are manual during the beta: download the new DMG and drag it over the old one. Your meetings and settings stay where they are. See the changelog.

Beta limitations

  • Apple silicon Mac only, macOS 15 or later. Windows is in development; no Windows version yet.
  • Live Answer, Screen Context and Verified Actions are beta. They can be slow, wrong or unavailable. Nothing runs from a Verified Action until you review and approve it.
  • Usage limits per plan. Each plan includes a monthly amount of hosted AI; the app tells you when you reach a limit. See how limits work.
  • Things will break. Report a problem from inside the app (⌃⌥P) or email support@kittyyawn.com.

Checksum and signature details

Every DMG is signed and notarized by Apple. A checksum file sits next to it on the downloads host: KittyYawn-<version>.dmg.sha256 beside KittyYawn-<version>.dmg. To check, run shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/KittyYawn-<version>.dmg in Terminal and compare the result with that file. The DMG is about 20 MB; speech models download on first run.
